Who is responsible
kickmedia.ro is operated by Kick Media SRL (Romanian limited company, fiscal code RO27160445), with work point at Str. Orhideelor 3, Negoiesti, Calarasi, Romania. Daniel Bindea is the principal and the data controller.
For any privacy request - access, deletion, correction, opt-out - email [email protected]. I read every message myself and reply within 30 days.
What data this site collects
This site is intentionally minimal. The only personal data I receive are the things you actively send me:
- If you book a call: name, email, time zone, and any notes you fill in - via Cal.com (their privacy policy applies inside that widget). I see the booking after Cal.com forwards it to me.
- If you email or WhatsApp me: your email address, phone number, and the content of your message.
The site itself does not run advertising trackers, marketing pixels, or third-party analytics. Server logs (nginx) record IP addresses and request paths for security and uptime; they are rotated automatically.
Why I use the data
- To reply to inquiries and book calls (legitimate interest / contract performance).
- To keep records of engagements once we start working together (legal obligation under Romanian fiscal law for invoicing).
- To keep the site running and secure (legitimate interest in operating the service).
I do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers. I do not "sell" or "share" personal information as defined under California (CCPA/CPRA) or other US state privacy laws.
Who else sees the data
- Cal.com (booking) - if you use the booking widget.
- Bitbucket / hosting providers / Cloudflare for code and traffic delivery (no app data is shared with them beyond what is technically necessary).
- Romanian fiscal authorities, when invoicing requires it.
I do not transfer personal data to other third parties without your prior request.
How long I keep it
Email exchanges are kept for as long as the engagement is active plus 7 years for fiscal records (Romanian law). Booking metadata stays in Cal.com under their retention policy. Server logs are rotated every 14 days.

You have the right to:
- Access the personal data I hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Request deletion ("right to be forgotten") subject to legal retention obligations
- Object to processing
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Romania: ANSPDCP)

If you are a resident of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, or another US state with privacy legislation, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information I collect about you
- Request access to or a copy of that information
- Request correction or deletion
- Opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. As stated above, I do not sell or share personal information for these purposes - this is included as a courtesy disclosure.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights
To exercise any of these, email [email protected] from the address associated with the data, or use the subject line "Privacy Request: [your state]". I will verify identity through email reply confirmation.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (Sec-GPC) signal, this site honors it as an opt-out signal automatically - no extra action needed.
Cookies
The site uses only necessary session and consent cookies by default. Functional cookies (the Cal.com booking widget) load only after you opt in via the consent banner. See the Cookie Policy for details, and click the privacy icon at the bottom of the page to change your choices anytime.
Children
This site is for B2B engagements and is not directed at children under 16. I do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
If I update this policy, the date at the top of this page changes. Material changes will also be flagged in the cookie consent banner.
